Briefly describe the composition and function of Cummins generator cooling system.

Cummins diesel generator will generate heat when it is running, which will lead to the increase of body temperature. When the body temperature rises to a certain extent, it will affect the efficiency of Cummins generator. Therefore, measures are taken to keep the engine and AC Cummins generator at low temperature. The cooling system includes radiator, axial fan and thermostat. Ac Cummins generator is equipped with independent fan cooling.
Radiator: All kinds of dirt on the radiator chip will greatly reduce the cooling performance of the radiator, so it is very necessary to clean the radiator frequently in dusty environment.
Coolant: Engine coolant has three functions: providing sufficient force transmission; Prevent the corrosion of all metal materials in the cooling system; Provide sufficient anti-freezing ability.
Select qualified brand coolant to ensure the normal use of the engine. Coolant should be mixed with water, antifreeze or water and antirust liquid, in which the PH value of water should be 6 ~ 8. It is generally recommended to choose water.
Coolant should be contained in the freezing area of 40 * ~ 60 *. It is recommended that users use antifreeze 50*. The mixture of Cummins generator antifreeze and 50* pure water should be prepared separately in an independent container, and added to the water tank after being mixed evenly. The antifreeze ability can reach about -30℃. (See user's instructions for antifreeze for details).
Antirust fluid can be used in areas where there is no danger of freezing, instead of antifreeze. The mixing ratio of antirust liquid and pure water is 1:30, which can achieve better antirust effect and cooling performance without reducing Cummins generator. Cummins generator should be run to the heat engine state after being filled with antirust liquid to obtain anticorrosion protection.
Do not mix different types of antifreeze with additives such as antirust, because it will produce a lot of foam and reduce its cooling performance.
Add coolant: After Cummins generator stops and cools completely, add coolant. Cummins generator shall not be started before system ventilation and coolant filling. When injecting coolant, the liquid level should reach 5 cm below the welding surface of the water injection port (or the coolant level indicator scale line). After the coolant is filled up, the Cummins generator should be started and preheated, and the surface of the coolant should be checked to determine whether it is necessary to replenish the coolant.
Coolant with the same specification as the original cooling system. Before adding coolant to the cooling system, make sure that the drain cover is closed and the drain plug is in the correct position. Add coolant slowly and evenly to avoid bubble fault in the system. The air in the cooling system is exhausted through the filler or exhaust valve. If the cooling system is connected to the heater, open the control valve of the heater to maintain ventilation in the unit. Cummins generator is equipped with a coolant filter. Before it is put into use, open the filter valve.
