The silencing and environmental protection project of generator room must be designed and constructed according to the specific conditions of the engine room. In order to ensure the normal operation of the unit, the following aspects must be paid attention to when designing the noise reduction project of the generator room:
1. Safety system: No fuel tank or photo box shall be set in the machine room, inflammable and explosive articles shall not be piled up, and fire-fighting equipment shall be provided. Main contents of sound insulation project for generator room:
1. Sound insulation of the access passage of the machine room: One or two sound insulation doors shall be set based on the principle of facilitating the transfer of the generator set and the work of the personnel in the machine room. They shall be made of metal frame with high-quality sound insulation materials, and the thickness shall be 8cm to 12cm.
2. Sound insulation of the air inlet system: Sound attenuation grooves and sound insulation walls are set on the air inlet surface, and forced air intake is adopted to keep the fresh air needed for the normal operation of the unit.
3. Sound insulation of exhaust system. Sound-deadening grooves and sound-deadening walls are arranged on the air exhaust surface, and forced air exhaust is adopted to reduce the working environment temperature of the generator to a great extent.
4. Flue silencing system: A two-stage damping silencer is installed on the smoke pipe outside the machine room to reduce the exhaust noise of the engine and at the same time, it will not affect the emission of exhaust gas.
